Arizona Town Hall officials are going on the road to share with state residents their newest report, “From Here to There: Transportation Opportunities for Arizona.”

For six weeks, starting late this month, Arizonans will have the opportunity to discuss the report during presentations at 13 morning, noon or evening events across the state.

The report, focusing on one of the state’s most critical topics, is the result of the 94th Arizona Town Hall, held in Tucson on April 19-22. More than 120 business and community leaders, elected officials and other stakeholders participated. A 252-page background report for the Town Hall was prepared by Arizona State University.

Key topics in the background report included:

• Fuel prices.

• Transportation and land-use planning.

• Rural transportation.

• International trade and transportation.

• Native American communities and transportation.

• Highway travel and congestion.

• Public transit.

• Air transportation.

• Passenger rail.

• Transportation safety.

• Aging and mobility.

• Alternative fuel vehicles.

• Transportation finance.
