Free home awarded

A Scottsdale-based homebuilder is awarding a free home to a California woman.

Jennifer Draa, a single mother from Citrus Heights, Calif., filled out an entry that was picked from nearly 638,000 submitted in Taylor Morrison Inc.’s national Dream Home Giveaway. About 61 percent of the entries came from Arizona, California, Colorado and Florida, which are Taylor Morrison markets. Several hundred entries were received daily during the 61-day contest. It started June 20 and ended Aug. 20.

Draa has chosen a new home in a Taylor Morrison development near Sacramento. Her grand prize package includes new home furnishings from World of Décor, a national upscale home furnishings and décor company.

Draa also won a vacation for four to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.

Taylor Morrison CEO Sheryl Palmer credits the national sweepstakes with 22 verifiable new home sales that resulted from entrants’ online research of the company’s communities or their visits to the model homes.

The manager is Sundt Senior Vice President Greg Moore.

CBRE volunteers

A real estate management team at CB Richard Ellis’ Phoenix office is helping residents who live near industrial properties in South Phoenix. Senior Real Estate Manager Patti Farina and her team – Susan Howard-Duty, assistant real estate manager; Katie Larson, real estate services administrator; and Keri Amrhein, real estate services coordinator – since 2006 have been donating their time and talents to support the Childhelp KEYS Community Center.

Farina and her team manage a 482,000-square-foot industrial project that is one mile from the community center at 2454 E. Broadway Road. Each week, they visit the center to read to children, play games with them, or help them with homework. For more information about the community center, contact Director Deborah Kidd Chapman at 602-243-0174 or dchapman@childhelp.org.
